The SureMount® SMFDC30 Motorised Fold-Down TV Ceiling Mount is a compact, space-saving solution that allows your TV to fold neatly against the ceiling when not in use and lower into position when you’re ready to watch.

Designed for 32″–42″ TVs up to 30 kg, the SMFDC30 is particularly well suited to motorhomes, caravans, apartments, tiny homes, kitchens, bedrooms, offices and other spaces where conventional wall mounting isn’t practical.

At the heart of the SMFDC30 is a motorised actuator-driven mechanism, providing smooth and controlled movement without relying on a belt-drive system. The TV can be positioned anywhere through its 0°–85° operating range, allowing you to select the viewing angle that best suits the room.

The versatile ceiling plate allows installation on flat or sloped ceilings, making the SMFDC30 an excellent option for spaces with pitched or unconventional ceiling designs.

Operation is simple using the included wireless remote control or the onboard control panel. 🔧 Important TV Fitment Check

TV screen size alone does not determine compatibility with a fold-down ceiling mount.

Before installation, check:

• TV weight: Maximum 30 kg
• VESA pattern: 100×100 mm or 200×200 mm
• Mounting-hole position: The distance from the top edge of the TV to the centre of the VESA mounting holes must be less than 420 mm

This final measurement is particularly important. If the mounting holes sit too low on the back of the TV, the top of the screen may interfere with the ceiling as the mount moves into the viewing position.

Some larger lightweight TVs may physically fit the SMFDC30 if all three requirements are met; however, 32″–42″ remains the recommended screen-size range.

Check these three measurements:

• The distance from the top of the TV to the centre of the VESA holes is less than 420 mm

Many 55″ TVs will not meet all of these requirements. If you’re unsure, send us the TV make and model and we can help check compatibility.
