SureMount 15″–37″ Locking Full Motion TV Wall Mount (SCL01L)
The SureMount SCL01L is a compact full motion TV wall mount designed for smaller televisions where flexible positioning and secure storage are important.
Extending up to 422mm from the wall, the SCL01L allows the screen to be pulled forward, turned towards the viewing position and folded neatly back against the wall when finished.
A built-in locking mechanism secures the mount in its folded position, making the SCL01L particularly well suited to motorhomes, caravans, boats and other mobile installations, where unwanted movement of the television while travelling can be a concern.
The compact 65 × 208mm wall plate also makes it suitable for single-stud installations and locations where mounting space is limited.
With ±15° tilt, up to 180° swivel and 75–422mm wall extension, the SCL01L provides excellent positioning flexibility without the size and bulk of a larger TV wall mount.

📐 TV Compatibility
Before ordering the SCL01L, check the following against your television:
- Recommended TV size: 15″–37″
- Maximum TV weight: 15kg
- Standard VESA: 75×75mm and 100×100mm
- With separately available SADAPTOR1: Up to 200×200mm
- TV mounting-hole position: Check that the VESA holes and TV dimensions allow the required movement
TV screen size should be treated as a guide. Weight and VESA mounting pattern are the most important compatibility measurements.
📏 Installation & Adjustment
- Minimum distance from wall: Approx. 75mm
- Maximum extension from wall: 422mm
- Swivel: Up to 180°
- Tilt: ±15°
- Maximum TV weight: 15kg
- Wall plate: 65 × 208mm
- Standard VESA: 75×75mm / 100×100mm
- VESA with SADAPTOR1: Up to 200×200mm

The amount of swivel available in an actual installation will depend on the width of the television, its mounting-hole position and clearance from the wall or surrounding cabinetry.
🚐 Why Choose a Locking TV Mount?
In a normal home installation, a TV mount generally remains stationary when it isn’t being adjusted. In a motorhome, caravan or boat, movement while travelling can cause an articulated TV mount to swing away from the wall.
The SCL01L‘s locking mechanism allows the mount to be secured in its folded position, helping keep the television stored neatly against the wall while travelling.
This provides the flexibility of a full motion TV mount while helping control unwanted arm movement when the television isn’t being used.
🆚 SCL01L or SCL01XL?
Both mounts provide the same 15kg capacity, locking folded position, ±15° tilt, up to 180° swivel and compact single-stud wall plate.
The main difference is how far they extend from the wall.
| Model | Wall Distance | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| SCL01L | 75–422mm | Compact installations where good reach is required |
| SCL01XL | 75–636mm | Installations requiring substantially more extension |
Choose the SCL01L where 422mm of extension provides enough movement and you want to keep the bracket as compact as possible.
Choose the SCL01XL where the television needs to reach further from the wall, such as positioning around cabinetry or reaching a viewing position further away from the mounting point.

❓ FAQs – 15″–37″ Locking Full Motion TV Wall Mount (SCL01L)
1️⃣ What size TVs does the SCL01L fit?
The SCL01L is designed for most 15″–37″ televisions weighing up to 15kg.
Screen size is only a guide. Always check your television’s weight and VESA mounting-hole pattern before ordering.
2️⃣ What VESA mounting patterns does it support?
The SCL01L directly supports VESA 75×75mm and 100×100mm.
For televisions with larger mounting patterns, the separately available SADAPTOR1 VESA Mount Extender allows compatibility with VESA patterns up to 200×200mm.
3️⃣ Is the SADAPTOR1 included with the SCL01L?
No.
The SADAPTOR1 is a separately available accessory and is only required if your television has a compatible mounting pattern larger than the SCL01L‘s standard 100×100mm maximum.
4️⃣ How far does the SCL01L extend from the wall?
The television sits approximately 75mm from the wall when the mount is folded and can be extended out to approximately 422mm.
This provides substantial positioning flexibility while retaining a relatively compact articulated arm.
5️⃣ What does the locking mechanism do?
The locking mechanism allows the SCL01L to be secured when folded back against the wall.
This helps prevent the articulated arm from moving away from the wall when the television isn’t being used.
6️⃣ Is the SCL01L suitable for a motorhome or caravan?
Yes.
The combination of a locking folded position, compact wall plate and full motion adjustment makes the SCL01L particularly well suited to motorhomes and caravans.
The mount and television must still be securely attached to suitable structural support within the vehicle.
7️⃣ Is it suitable for boats?
Yes.
The locking design can make the SCL01L useful in boat and marine-cabin installations where unwanted movement of an articulated TV mount needs to be controlled.
Installation must be onto suitable structural support, and appropriate fixings should be selected for the installation environment.
8️⃣ Can I swivel the TV?
Yes.
The SCL01L provides up to approximately 180° of swivel.
The actual swivel available will depend on the width of your television and surrounding clearance, particularly as the TV approaches the wall.
9️⃣ Can I tilt the television?
Yes.
The SCL01L provides approximately ±15° tilt adjustment, allowing the screen angle to be adjusted up or down for a more comfortable viewing position.
🔟 Can I mount the SCL01L to a single timber stud?
Yes.
The narrow 65 × 208mm wall plate makes the SCL01L suitable for mounting to a correctly positioned structural timber stud.
The mount must be securely attached to suitable structural support and should not be fixed to plasterboard or other wall lining alone.
1️⃣1️⃣ What’s the difference between the SCL01L and SCL01XL?
The main difference is extension from the wall.
The SCL01L extends up to 422mm, while the SCL01XL extends up to 636mm.
Choose the SCL01L where you want a more compact bracket and 422mm provides sufficient reach. Choose the SCL01XL where significantly greater extension is required.
1️⃣2️⃣ Is the SCL01L only for motorhomes, caravans and boats?
No.
Although its locking design makes it particularly useful for mobile installations, the SCL01L can also be used in homes, offices, workshops, bedrooms and other installations where a smaller television requires flexible positioning.
