🔧 Installer’s Tip — Improve Viewing Angle and Cable Access

Professional installers often add a small spacer or washer behind the TOP mounting holes (on the TV side of the bracket).

This creates a very slight forward tilt — usually only a few degrees — and provides three important benefits:

• Better viewing angle:
If the TV is mounted higher than eye level (common in kitchens, bedrooms, caravans), a subtle forward angle improves viewing comfort and reduces glare.

• Better cable access & connector protection:
Slim mounts sit close to HDMI and power ports. A small tilt gives:
