The SureMount SMCM2X1-F400 2×1 TV Ceiling Mount is a professional modular mounting system designed to suspend two TVs side by side from the ceiling.

Suitable for screens from 32″ to 55″, the system supports up to 30kg per screen and can be configured in either landscape or portrait orientation. The aluminium rail system provides a strong, clean mounting platform, while the fixed TV arms incorporate 10mm micro height adjustment to help achieve accurate screen-to-screen alignment.

One of the major advantages of the SureMount system is its modular design. Aluminium rails can be extended to accommodate additional screens, while extra ceiling poles can be added for larger installations or where additional support is required.

For example, the standard 2×1 configuration uses one ceiling pole, while a larger 3×1 configuration can use two ceiling poles and an extended rail assembly.

⚠️ Stability Recommendation

The standard SMCM2X1-F400 configuration uses one ceiling plate and one central pole.

For improved stability — particularly with larger screens, heavier loads, extended rail configurations or installations in high-traffic environments — we recommend adding a second ceiling plate and pole.

This provides additional support across the rail and helps minimise movement in larger installations.

🔧 Installer’s Insight

The key to getting a professional result with a multi-screen installation is screen alignment.

Mount the rail assembly level first, then position the SARFIX400 arms for each TV. Once the screens are installed, use the 10mm micro height adjustment to fine-tune each screen so the top and bottom edges align accurately.

For installations using larger screens or an extended rail, adding a second ceiling pole can significantly improve rigidity and reduce movement across the mounting structure.
