SureMount 3×1 TV Ceiling Mount – Fixed (SMCM3X1-F400)
The SureMount SMCM3X1-F400 3×1 TV Ceiling Mount is a professional ceiling-mounted multi-screen system designed to suspend three TVs side by side in either landscape or portrait orientation.
It is particularly well suited to real estate window displays, retail digital signage, menu boards, commercial information screens and other applications where multiple screens need to be suspended in a prominent position without relying on a wall.
The system uses two ceiling-mounted support poles connected to a continuous aluminium rail, creating a strong and stable mounting platform across all three screens. The individual TVs can be positioned closely together along the rail for a clean, professional three-screen display.
Each screen is mounted using a SARFIX400 fixed video wall TV arm, which clips securely onto the aluminium rail. Each mounting arm also provides 10mm of vertical micro height adjustment, allowing the three screens to be individually levelled for precise alignment.
Because the SureMount video wall system is modular, the aluminium rail and support system can also be extended or reconfigured for larger custom multi-screen installations.

🔧 Installer’s Insight
With a ceiling-mounted multi-screen installation, accurate positioning of the ceiling plates, support poles and aluminium rail is particularly important.
The SMCM3X1-F400 uses two ceiling support poles to distribute the load across the 3490mm-wide rail assembly. These poles do not need to align directly behind individual screens, allowing the TVs to be positioned independently along the rail.
🎯 Installer Tip: Set the rail level first, then mount the three screens and use the 10mm micro height adjustment on each SARFIX400 arm to fine-tune the final alignment.
For portrait installations such as a real estate window display, the screens can be positioned very closely together, giving the appearance of a clean continuous digital display while still allowing each screen to operate independently.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions – SMCM3X1-F400
1️⃣ What screen sizes does the SMCM3X1-F400 support?
The system is designed for most 32″–55″ screens.
Larger displays may also be possible by increasing the overall aluminium rail width, provided each screen remains within the 30kg maximum weight and 400×400mm VESA limit.
If you’re unsure, send us the screen model number and we can check compatibility.
2️⃣ Can the screens be mounted in portrait orientation?
Yes.
🔄 The SMCM3X1-F400 supports both landscape and portrait mounting.
Portrait mounting is particularly effective for real estate window displays, retail advertising and other digital signage applications.
3️⃣ Can the three screens be positioned close together?
Yes.
↔️ The TV mounting arms can be positioned anywhere along the aluminium rail, allowing the screens to be placed closely side by side.
This is particularly useful for portrait installations where a clean three-screen presentation is required.
4️⃣ What is the maximum screen weight?
⚖️ Each screen can weigh up to 30kg.
The 30kg rating applies per screen, not to the entire three-screen system.
5️⃣ What VESA mounting patterns are supported?
⬜ The supplied SARFIX400 TV mounting arms support VESA mounting patterns up to 400×400mm.
6️⃣ Does the SMCM3X1-F400 allow the screens to tilt?
No.
🔒 The SMCM3X1-F400 uses fixed-angle TV mounting arms.
If tilt adjustment is required, the SMCM3X1-T400 tilting version is the more appropriate configuration.
7️⃣ Can I increase the distance between the ceiling and the screens?
Yes.
📏 The standard system provides an adjustable vertical drop of approximately 580–1550mm.
➕ Additional 800mm pole extensions can be added where a greater ceiling drop is required.
8️⃣ Can each screen be levelled individually?
Yes.
🎯 Each SARFIX400 mounting arm provides 10mm of vertical micro height adjustment.
This allows small differences between the screens to be corrected after mounting so the tops and bottoms can be accurately aligned.
9️⃣ Why does the system use two ceiling poles?
🏗️ The two support poles distribute the load across the long aluminium rail and provide additional stability for the three-screen installation.
The poles can be positioned along the rail independently of the TVs, so they do not need to sit directly above individual screens.
🔟 Can the system be expanded to more than three screens?
Yes.
🧩 The SureMount video wall system is fully modular.
Additional aluminium rail sections, extension bars, TV mounting arms and support poles can be added to create larger configurations such as 4×1, 2×2 and other custom layouts.
