The SureMount SMCMPLT is a heavy-duty ceiling plate designed for mounting 50mm poles to ceilings or walls as part of a suspended video wall or digital signage installation.

It is primarily designed for use with the SMCM80XL and SMCM80XL-EXT800 pole systems, allowing installers to securely mount poles to flat ceilings, sloping ceilings, or vertical wall surfaces.

With an adjustable angle range from 0° to 90°, the SMCMPLT is ideal for installations where the ceiling is raked or angled, while still allowing the pole to remain vertical.

Although it is most commonly used with the SMCM80XL range, the fixing holes are also compatible with the SFC1B1 floor-to-ceiling pole system if required.

🔧 Installer’s Tip — Keep the Pole Perfectly Vertical

The adjustable head allows the ceiling plate to be used on sloping ceilings while keeping the pole straight.

• Set the ceiling angle first
Adjust the ceiling plate to suit the ceiling pitch before tightening.

• Use a spirit level on the pole
Check the pole is perfectly vertical before locking everything in place.

• Fit plastic covers last
Leave covers off until all final adjustments have been made.
