How do I know whether this TV mount will work with my TV?

There are two factors to take into account when buying a TV mount. They are weight and VESA (mounting hole pattern). Look at the specifications of your TV and see if they fit within the weight and VESA for the TV mount in question.

What is a single stud TV mount?

A single stud TV mount means that it has a narrow back plate specifically designed for installing on a column, pillar or single wall stud.

Can you put a TV wall mount in a corner?

Yes you can. The SCLSS01 cantilever TV wall bracket is a single stud TV mount with a 67.5mm narrow mounting back plate. This makes it easy to attach the bracket to the wall stud and extend the TV out across the corner as required.

Why do single arm brackets sometimes sag?

The most common issue with single arm TV mounts is that the sag weight is a lot less than a dual arm TV mount. This means that single arm TV mounts can’t take as much weight before the arm starts to sag or twist. In most cases the sag is only noticeable when you are trying to get your TV to be level when the bracket is both pushed right in or pulled right out from the wall. When the TV is fully pushed in and level their is likely to be little or no sag. When the TV is pulled out from the wall this generates leverage on the arm of the bracket. If the TV is mounted offset from the pivot point then there is a possibility that one side of the TV may sag down more then the other. Ensuring that the TV is mounted over the top of the pivot points on the bracket will help to keep it level when both pushed in and pulled out.
