🔧 Installer’s Tip — Improve Viewing Angle and Cable Access

Professional installers often add a small spacer or washer behind the TOP mounting holes (on the TV side of the bracket).
This creates a very slight tilt forward — usually only a few degrees — but it has three big advantages:

• Better viewing angle:
If the TV is mounted a little higher than eye level (common in lounges, bedrooms, or above cabinets), this gentle forward angle improves visibility and reduces glare.

• Better cable access & connector protection:
Ultra-slim mounts can sit very close to bottom HDMI and power ports.
A minor forward tilt gives:
– extra room for HDMI/power cables,
– less pressure on connectors,
– easier installation when plugging in new devices.

• Cleaner overall finish:
By relieving strain and keeping cables routed naturally, the TV sits more comfortably on the bracket and maintains an even, vertical look from the front.

Q: Will this mount work with my TV?
A: Check two things:

• Weight – your TV must be 60kg or less

• VESA pattern – between 100×100mm and 600×400mm

Q: Should I buy a tilt TV mount or a fixed mount like the SL1?
A:

• Fixed mount (SL1): creates the cleanest look with only 10mm gap from wall. Best for eye-level installations where you don’t need to tilt the TV.

• Tilt mount: allows you to angle the TV downward if mounted higher, and provides a bigger gap for plugging in cables.

💡 Installer tip: If you want a slight downward angle on a fixed mount, add the included spacers to the top two mounting holes on the back of your TV when attaching the vertical support arms. This gives a gentle tilt while keeping the slim profile.

Q: Can I still access cables behind the TV?
A: Yes. The SL1 has an open backplate design for easy cable routing and a quick-release safety mechanism to remove the TV when needed.
