FAQ’s – SureMount® ST01 Tilting TV Wall Mount
1️⃣ Will this mount work with my TV?
Check two things:
-
Weight: Your TV must be 35 kg or less
-
VESA pattern: Must be 75×75 to 200×200 mm
If both match, the ST01 will fit your TV.
2️⃣ Should I choose a tilt mount or a flat-to-wall mount?
Choose a tilt mount like the ST01 if you want:
-
Easier access to rear HDMI/power ports
-
To mount the TV higher on the wall
-
The ability to angle the TV down for better viewing
Choose a fixed mount if you want:
-
The TV as close to the wall as possible
-
A cleaner profile at eye-level installations
3️⃣ What height should I mount my TV?
For small–medium TVs:
-
Mount the centre of the screen 1000–1100 mm from the floor for seated viewing
-
For larger screens or mixed viewing (standing + seated), aim to place the point ⅓ from the bottom of the screen at 1000–1100 mm
This ensures comfortable, natural viewing without neck strain.
4️⃣ Does the ST01 help with cable access?
Yes.
The 50 mm cable gap provides room for HDMI, power, and AV cables — especially useful on smaller TVs where ports often face backward instead of sideways.
