How do I know whether this TV mount will work with my TV?
There are two factors to take into account when buying a TV mount. They are weight and VESA (mounting hole pattern). Look at the specifications of your TV and see if they fit within the weight and VESA for the TV mount in question.
Should I buy a tilt TV mount or a flat to wall TV mount?
The advantages of a tilt TV bracket is that you have a larger gap behind the TV to help with plugging cables in and out. A tilt mount also allows you to mount the TV higher than normal as you can tilt it down to improve the viewing angle.
What is the best height to mount my TV on the wall?
Small to medium sized TV’s are typically mounted so the centre of the TV is between 1000 and 1100mm from the floor. For larger TV’s the point that is 1/3rd of the way up from the bottom of the TV should be between 1000 and 1100mm from the floor.
