The SureMount SPM05B is a long-drop adjustable ceiling projector mount designed for very high ceilings and installations where maximum extension is required.

With an adjustable drop range of 1000mm to 1970mm, the SPM05B provides almost two metres of extension, allowing the projector to be positioned at a suitable height in large rooms, auditoriums, commercial spaces and other high-ceiling environments.

The adjustable ceiling plate is suitable for flat or sloped ceilings up to 45°, providing additional installation flexibility where the ceiling surface is angled.

The universal mounting system uses independently adjustable arms that can be configured for 3-point or 4-point projector mounting patterns, while ±30° projector angle adjustment allows the final position to be fine-tuned for accurate image alignment.

🔍 Which Projector Mount Do I Need?

The SPM05 provides the greatest drop in the SureMount ceiling projector mount range and is designed for installations where the shorter SPM02, SPM03 and SPM04 models do not provide sufficient extension.

If you require up to 1170mm of drop, the SPM04 may provide a more compact alternative. For installations requiring more than 1170mm, the SPM05 extends out to 1970mm.

If ceiling mounting isn’t practical, the SPWM04 provides an adjustable wall-mounted alternative.

1️⃣ Will the SPM05B fit my projector?

The SPM05B uses independently adjustable mounting arms and is compatible with a wide range of LCD and DLP projectors.

Your projector must weigh 15kg or less, and its mounting holes must fall within the adjustable range of the mounting arms.

The standard arms provide a spread of up to 320mm, which can be increased to 380mm using the separately available SMPLB Projector Mount Extension Feet.

No.

The SPM05B can be configured using either three or four mounting arms, allowing it to suit projectors with different mounting arrangements.

3️⃣ How far can the SPM05B hang below the ceiling?

Choose the SPM05B when the installation requires more than the SPM04’s maximum 1170mm drop.

The SPM05B provides a 1000–1970mm adjustable range, making it particularly suitable for very high ceilings, auditoriums, large commercial spaces and other installations requiring substantial projector drop.

If your required drop is below 1170mm, the SPM04B may provide a more compact solution.

Yes.
