The SureMount SPM01W is a low-profile fixed ceiling projector mount designed for installations where the projector needs to sit close to the ceiling.

With an approximate 135mm drop from the ceiling to the projector mounting base, the SPM01W is ideal for home theatres, offices, classrooms and meeting rooms where additional height adjustment is not required.

The universal mounting system uses independently adjustable arms that can be configured for 3-point or 4-point projector mounting patterns, allowing it to suit a wide range of LCD and DLP projectors.

Once installed, the projector can be adjusted by up to ±30° to assist with levelling and image alignment, while the fixed-height design provides a simple, stable and unobtrusive installation.

The SPM01 is the best choice when the projector needs to sit close to the ceiling and no height adjustment is required.

For installations requiring additional drop or installation onto a sloped ceiling, choose one of the adjustable SPM02, SPM03, SPM04 or SPM05 ceiling mounts.

If ceiling mounting isn’t practical, the SPWM04 provides an adjustable wall-mounted alternative.

1️⃣ Will the SPM01W fit my projector?

The SPM01W uses independently adjustable mounting arms and is compatible with a wide range of LCD and DLP projectors.

Your projector must weigh 15kg or less, and its mounting holes must fall within the adjustable range of the mounting arms.

The standard arms provide a spread of up to 320mm, which can be increased to 380mm with optional extension legs.

2️⃣ Does my projector need four mounting holes?

No.

The SPM01W can be configured using either three or four mounting arms, allowing it to suit projectors with different mounting arrangements.

3️⃣ How far does the projector sit below the ceiling?

The distance from the ceiling to the projector mounting base is approximately 135mm.

The complete mount measures approximately 156mm overall when the projector mounting assembly is included.

4️⃣ Can I adjust the height of the projector?

No.

The SPM01W is a fixed-height ceiling mount designed to keep the projector close to the ceiling.

If you need to adjust how far the projector hangs below the ceiling, consider the SPM02, SPM03, SPM04 or SPM05 adjustable ceiling mounts.

5️⃣ Can I adjust the projector angle?

Yes.

The projector mounting assembly provides up to ±30° of angle adjustment, allowing the projector to be levelled and aligned with the screen.

6️⃣ Can I install the SPM01W on a sloped ceiling?

The SPM01W is designed primarily for flat-ceiling installations.

For a sloped or angled ceiling, choose the SPM02, SPM03, SPM04 or SPM05, as these models incorporate an adjustable ceiling mounting plate that can accommodate angled ceilings.

7️⃣ When should I choose the SPM01W instead of an adjustable projector mount?

Choose the SPM01W when:

• The projector needs to sit close to the ceiling
• The ceiling height already provides the correct projector position
• Drop adjustment is not required
• You have a flat ceiling
• You want a simple, low-profile permanent installation

If additional drop is required, choose one of the adjustable SPM02–SPM05 models.

8️⃣ What if my projector mounting holes are wider than the standard arms can accommodate?

If your projector requires a wider mounting spread, the separately available SMPLW Projector Mount Extension Feet can be fitted to the SPM01W.
