Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
How do I know if my projector will fit on this SureMount Projector Mount?
There are four factors to take into account when buying a projector mount. They are:
-
- Weight. The maximum weight capacity for the projector mount is 15kgs
- Check that your projector is able to be ceiling mounted
- Mounting hole Pattern. Measure the mounting holes on the bottom of the projector. The longest reach from point to point of the projector mount legs is 320mm. If the legs were to reach in a square pattern then you would get a 220mm square. The Large Extension Legs will reach 260mm in a square or 380mm at their longest reach.
- Drop. Check the specifications of your projector to see how far off the ceiling it needs to be mounted to get the best sized picture at the optimal height from the floor.
Can I use a SureMount Projector Mount to mount a security camera or wireless access point?
In most cases you will be able to use the mounting holes for your security camera or wireless access point to attach to the projector mount base plate. The SureMount projector mounts can also be used in dental surgeries to mount TV’s close to the ceiling.

Very strong and sturdy once in place. I managed, but it’s really a 2 person job to assemble and put up, once the proejctor is attached.
